What is Neuramis filler?
Neuramis is a range of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers made by Medytox in South Korea. Depending on the exact product, treatment may soften selected folds or restore facial volume. Results are temporary, and the right choice depends on your anatomy, the treatment area and the product’s authorised use in Thailand.
Medytox calls its cross-linking and purification process SHAPE™. This describes how the gel is made; it does not guarantee fewer complications, a lump-free result or better suitability for a particular ethnicity.
How do Neuramis products differ?
The names below appear in Medytox’s English product catalogue. They are different formulations, not interchangeable names for the same filler. The range varies between markets; this is not a list of products currently available at Smooth Clinic.
| Product name | What to know |
|---|---|
| Neuramis Light Lidocaine | Manufacturer literature describes skin hydration and texture uses. “Light” does not establish that it is suitable for the under-eye area. |
| Neuramis Lidocaine | A specific wrinkle-treatment product, not a general name for every Neuramis filler containing anaesthetic. |
| Neuramis Deep | An HA formulation without added lidocaine. It has been studied for nasolabial folds, the creases running from the nose towards the mouth. |
| Neuramis Deep Lidocaine | A separate lidocaine-containing formulation with its own nasolabial-fold study. |
| Neuramis Volume Lidocaine | A volume-restoring formulation studied for age-related midface volume loss. |
These descriptions do not confirm Thai approval for a particular use. Ask which exact model is proposed and check its Thai labelling and authorised indication. Lidocaine may reduce injection discomfort, but stinging, pressure or pain can still occur.
Where can Neuramis be used?
Choose the treatment for the concern first, then the product. Evidence for Neuramis Deep or Deep Lidocaine in nasolabial folds cannot establish suitability for the chin, temples, marionette lines or every other facial area.
- Smile lines and mouth-corner lines: a doctor should assess whether a local crease, volume loss or tissue sagging is the main cause. These concerns do not all need the same approach.
- Cheeks, chin and temples: contour and volume goals require assessment of proportions, tissue support and the risks of the proposed site. A model called “Volume” is not automatically appropriate.
- Under-eyes: filler may help selected hollows, but does not treat every cause of dark circles or remove fat bags. Thin skin and fluid retention can make swelling more troublesome. Read about under-eye filler suitability and limitations before choosing a brand.
For treatment in Thailand, the doctor should explain how the exact product’s Thai-authorised instructions apply to the proposed area. Overseas approval or a general brand claim is not enough.
How long does Neuramis filler last?
There is no single duration for every Neuramis model. Results depend on the formulation, treatment area, amount used and individual response.
Separate studies of Neuramis Deep and Deep Lidocaine assessed nasolabial folds through 24 weeks. A Korean study of Volume Lidocaine for age-related midface volume loss followed participants for two years, with improvement still present in some participants. These findings do not guarantee two years from one treatment or the same duration for another model, area or person.
Visible improvement and complete disappearance of filler are different. Review the result and any remaining filler before repeating treatment; a fixed top-up schedule is not necessary for everyone.
How can you check authenticity and Thai approval?
Check the product you will actually receive. A convincing box, hologram or QR code alone cannot establish authenticity.
- Ask to see the sealed product before use. Check the full model name, lot number and expiry date on the box and syringe.
- Check the Thai label, importer and relevant Thai FDA authorisation number against the current product record.
- Ask to see the authorised indication for the proposed treatment. A registration for another model or another country does not apply automatically.
- If there is a verification code, use the manufacturer’s or authorised importer’s genuine channel. Keep the product details with your treatment record.
Choose a licensed clinic and doctor with relevant experience. Ask how complications are assessed and how urgent hospital referral is arranged. If product details cannot be verified, resolve that before treatment.
What does Neuramis cost in Thailand?
Ask for a current, model-specific quote in Thai baht. Check the volume per syringe, total proposed amount, consultation and follow-up fees, and any promotion conditions. One cc equals one mL; the amount in a package is not a target that must be injected.
Price alone does not establish quality, authenticity or suitability. When comparing Neuramis with Juvederm, Restylane or E.P.T.Q., compare products intended for similar goals rather than ranking entire brands by softness or duration. Our filler brand comparison explains what matters.
Who should postpone treatment or take extra care?
A consultation should cover your goals, previous fillers or implants, allergies, health conditions, medicines and supplements. Mention any unknown or permanent filler in the same area.
- Active infection or inflammation near the injection site: postpone treatment until the problem has been assessed and treated appropriately.
- Allergy to an ingredient: avoid that formulation. Tell the doctor about lidocaine reactions and any history of severe allergy.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding: elective filler is generally postponed because safety has not been established.
- Bleeding problems or medicines that affect bleeding: discuss the risks and any necessary changes with your doctors. Do not stop prescribed aspirin, anticoagulants or other medicines yourself.
Ask for an explanation of the treatment, consent and aftercare that you understand. If you will be away from your usual home in Thailand, agree on follow-up and urgent contact arrangements before proceeding.
What are the risks and urgent warning signs?
Swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness can occur. Lumps, infection, delayed inflammation and allergic reactions are also possible. Genuine products and an experienced doctor reduce avoidable risks but cannot eliminate complications.
Accidental injection into a blood vessel can damage tissue or cause blindness or stroke. Seek help immediately for these warning signs:
- Unusual or severe pain, pale skin, or grey, blue or mottled skin: get immediate medical assessment. If the treating doctor cannot assess you immediately, go to an emergency department.
- Blurred, double or lost vision, facial drooping, weakness or difficulty speaking: seek emergency hospital care immediately and explain that you have had filler. Do not wait for a clinic reply or routine appointment.
- Breathing difficulty, tongue or throat swelling, faintness or collapse: get emergency help immediately for a possible severe allergic reaction.
Increasing redness, warmth, pain, fever, discharge or a persistent lump also needs prompt medical assessment. Do not assume every change is normal settling or try to massage it away.
Can Neuramis be dissolved?
Hyaluronidase can break down HA filler, but the response varies and more than one treatment may be needed. Dissolving has its own risks, including allergy, and cannot guarantee complete removal or an exact return to your previous appearance.
A doctor should assess the cause of a lump or uneven result before treating it. Read about dissolving HA filler and its limitations. Never inject dissolving medicine yourself, and do not delay emergency care while arranging cosmetic correction.
What recovery and aftercare should you plan for?
Many people can continue everyday activities, but allow for visible swelling or bruising before work, travel or an important event. Reactions may settle over days to weeks; worsening symptoms need assessment rather than more waiting. Early fullness may include swelling, so the first-day appearance is not the final result.
Follow the treating doctor’s instructions about exercise, heat, skincare and makeup. Keep the area clean and avoid pressing or massaging it unless specifically advised. Attend the agreed review before deciding on further treatment.
